The Annual Rotary Club Golf Classic was once again held on the August Bank Holiday Monday and was once again excellently supported by the Golfers of Co. Monaghan and the business community.

Over 40 Teams of four Golfers took on the challenge at Rossmore Golf Club and in the end it was whylie foursome of McArdle Offices supplies that amassed the excellent score of 106 points.
The Rotary Club members made sure everyone had enough stamina to complete the course by providing Burgers and Hotdogs at the halfwayshed and with a little novelty managed to prise a further few bob for charity from the leg weary participants and with only a few groans and grumbles. Peter & Tom got into automatic drive (sometimes in reverse) Sinead done the Buggy shuffle, Brenda was the Burger Queen. David was Crisp and Dry in the Clubhouse while John and Raymond were the hairy bikers.

Our Thanks to Captain Willie Cullen and his committee and Staff for making us most welcome especially Tracy, Monica and Eddie and Kieran Smyth and the Staff of the Pro-Shop for their support and generous sponsorship.
